Vans Vault and Japanese design brand, WTAPS, add another collection to their ongoing partnership, with the release of the Anaconda-inspired leather pack. This year’s larger capsule, with staggered release dates, commemorates Vans 50th anniversary, as WTAPS approaches it’s 20th. With more than a decade of limited edition collaborations, this release does not fall short of the set standard.

The Sk8-Hi MTE Cup Sole has just arrived in preparation for the fast-approaching change in weather. Featuring premium Scotchgard™-treated leather uppers, warm fleece linings, and a heat retention layer the Sk8-Hi MTE is available in black and cathay tan waxed-suede, ready to face the elements. In addition, the Sk8-Hi MTE Cup features re-enforced toecaps to withstand repeated wear, stitched laces, and increased outsole treads. Both styles are now available at The Vans DQM General.
Vans Vault has collaborated with underground painter and cartoonist, Robert Williams. Known for his work in the 60s and 70s, and his later founding of Juxtapoz Magazine, Williams releases his second collection with Vans featuring three of his most prominent pieces. Included in the limited edition collection are the Authentic 44 Reissue, Slip-On 98 Reissue, and Sk8-Hi 38 Decon LX, each with it’s own representation of Williams’ work that continues beneath the shoe into the outsole. Each pair is packed into a graphic drawstring bag and placed in a special Robert WIlliams box. The entire collection, including a series of three t-shirts, will be available this Saturday, July 23rd.
The new leather Court Mid DX has just arrived at The General; a mid-top silhouette inspired by the clean, simple lines of 70s tennis and basketball shoes. The mid features deluxe leather uppers, heel mustache detailing, sidestripe stitching, and classic rubber waffle tread pattern. The leather Court Mid DX and leather Old Skool DX are both available now at The General.
